Thanks for your comment.

Just a little bit, let me explain about section 2.

Please imagine a rocket start.

If I could change the hidden process priority individually, I would launch an application more faster than ever before.

In general, quickly boost start is worth a lot.

And then, I want you to devide them into Active window, Minimized window, and Hidden window processes.

However, according to your reply, deviding active and normal would require more CPU usage. So I should resuggest that process have been devided 3 types such as Active or Normal, minimized, and Hidden process. It could be more effective I think.

About section 1.
I know your point. However, WINDOWS is not so smart. I'm afraid you overestimate a default of system servies setteing.
Some svchost.exe process is not so important and it should be given lower priority. If you do, you could use quality time more.
Again, I know it's a quite tough challenge for the future

Hi,

1. for the moment, it's not easy to distinguish services in .Net.
So I will not add specific fonctions for each svchost variety.
In fact, I think changing system processes is not a very good idea. You can let thoses process on a CPU, and put the softs you want on other CPUs.

2. normal or hidden processes are easy to distinguish.
Minimized or top windows require calls to win API, and are using CPU.

You have to know that windows always "boost" top window priority.
A top window in "normal" priority have a real priority between "normal" and "above normal", so I think checking top windows may consume to many CPU, and will not make you computer more efficient.

I keep my best to publish v3.4 on the beginning of november ...

Hi.

I can't wait the BPM3.4 final!

Can I post a FUTURE REQUEST?

1.Distinguish svchost.exe
svchost.exe is a variety process(service).
Each svchost.exe is not the same.
So svchost task priority should be set individually.

2.Distinguish between top window and normal window, and hidden process and minmized window
These are quite difference.

Bonjour,
